Job summary

Goodwill Dallas is seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee textile and hard goods production, meet quotas, and train team members. The role emphasizes strong donor service, staff scheduling, and compliance with CARF and CPSC standards.

Responsibilities include supervising cashiers and loaders, ensuring quality production, and maintaining store safety and image while managing payroll in line with policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to adhere to the organization’s Core Principles.
• Ability to operate cash register, calculator, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and/or direction from Team Leader.
• Knowledge of product recalls and unacceptable donated goods.
• Skilled in maintaining inventory, sales, and store records.
• Ability to effectively supervise, train, develop, and mentor team members.
• Knowledge of textile and hard hoods articles as related to quality and classification.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% world class customer service and donor courtesy.
• Assist Team Leader with team management including hiring, training and evaluations.
• Provide input and support in disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure donation attendants deliver exceptional donor service.
• Supervise sales floor staff to maintain efficient operations and customer focus.
• Oversee inventory control, stock rotations, and scheduling within procedures.
• Maintain budgeted expenses and revenue per donor foot.
