Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Dallas Inc is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to work with the Team Leader in overseeing all aspects of textile and hard goods production, meeting quotas, and developing team members.

You will supervise donation attendants, cashiers, and stock staff, schedule and conduct performance reviews, and ensure accurate reporting, training, and disciplinary actions as needed. The role requires evenings and weekends, strong customer service, and adherence to Goodwill policies.

Qualifications

• Assist Team Leader with hiring, training, development, supervision, evaluation, and terminations.
• Experience with donations handling and donor service is a plus.
• Strong inventory, stock rotation, and POS competence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Leader with all aspects of team management, including hiring, training, development, supervision, evaluation, and terminations, in alignment with Goodwill’s policies, procedures, and job descriptions.
• Provide input and support in employee disciplinary actions and terminations as needed.
• Ensure the donation attendants consistently deliver exceptional donor service.
• Supervise receiving inventory, stock rotations, color rotations, scheduled markdowns, and transfer of stock.
• Maintain operations efficiency and a positive customer experience on the sales floor.
• Maintain and oversee daily reports and payroll in line with policy.
