Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Wind Hub Technician to maintain and optimize wind site operations across Texas Hub 10.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on GE wind turbines, while partnering with site leadership to fulfill contractual requirements and daily activities. The role requires hands-on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical work, the ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and willingness to work rotating shifts at multiple Texas sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of wind technician or wind mechanic experience.
• 2+ years experience including hydraulic/electrical work and basic hydraulic tools; passing a knowledge assessment.

Responsibilities

• Work with site leadership to meet contractual obligations and daily activities.
• Perform maintenance, repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch and speed turbines.
• Assist site operations with minimal supervision as directed by the manager.
• Perform diagnostic electrical analysis.
• Document all work using computer-based service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center when needed.
