Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Wind Hub Technician to support multiple Texas Hub 10 wind sites. The role involves daily turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repair while collaborating with Site Lead and Manager to meet contract timelines.

The position requires travel up to 100%, strong wind-turbine troubleshooting experience, and the ability to work in diverse environments. Competitive benefits and relocation assistance are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; pass Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• Wind trouble-shooting experience: 4+ years (with 1+ year in EHS/SQC/Lead) or 6+ years, or 3+ years with a Bachelor's in a relevant field.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and climb towers 300+ feet.

Responsibilities

• Execute contractual obligations per customer requirements daily.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on turbines.
• Read, understand and explain schematics, drawings, and manuals.
• Document all work using service reports and coordinate with GE’s remote operations center.
• Assist site operations and mentor peers, with minimal supervision.
