Job summary

BakerRipley is seeking an Early Care Education Specialist to build relationships with childcare providers and support Texas Rising Star certification. The role includes delivering training, on-site and virtual technical assistance, and monitoring for compliance with program requirements.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience, plus 1 year of full-time early childhood classroom experience in a licensed setting. Travel locally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science.
• OR Bachelor's degree with at least 18 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science with at least 12 credit hours in child development.
• OR Associate's degree in early childhood education, child development, child psychology, educational psychology, elementary education, or family consumer science with two years of experience as a director in an early childhood program.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains updated paperwork for all records per Texas Workforce Commission and Board directives.
• Conducts monitoring of providers to ensure compliance with contractual regulations and provides technical assistance as needed.
• Conducts follow-up visits on Service Improvement Agreements (SIAs).
• Performs other duties as assigned to support Workforce System operations.
