Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services seeks a Regional Safety Manager to own the health and safety function for a multi-cluster Texas data-center portfolio. You will lead a team of Health and Safety Managers, define safety strategy, and align with senior partners to scale safety across facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting workplace risk investigations.
• Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements.
• Experience managing direct reports.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 6+ years of occupational health and safety, compliance program management, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree or equivalent (preferred).
• Professional safety qualification (CSP/ASP) (preferred).
• Knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping requirements (29 CFR 1904) and incident investigation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the safety strategy and lifecycle of programs across Texas data centers.
• Manage and develop a team of Health & Safety Managers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and risk assessments.
• Analyze safety metrics and trends; design strategic responses.
• Lead investigations and ensure narratives meet IRB-like standards.
• Collaborate with construction, facilities, security, and legal to drive controls.
• Build workforce and succession planning for rapid growth.
