Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Regional Safety Manager to own the health and safety function for a Texas multi-cluster data center portfolio and lead a team of Health & Safety Managers across sites.

The role requires setting safety strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with facilities, security, legal, and operations to raise safety standards while supporting rapid growth and new capacity.

Formación

• Experience conducting workplace risk investigations.
• Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements.
• Experience managing direct reports.
• Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of occupational safety, compliance program management, or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Own the safety strategy and lifecycle of complex cross-functional safety programs across a multi-cluster portfolio in Texas
• Manage and develop a team of Health & Safety Managers across multiple sites and geographies.
• Implement and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, policies, and practices that meet or exceed regulatory requirements, including safety management systems, training, and risk assessments.
• Own regional MBR and QBR narratives; analyze safety metrics and trends across the portfolio, deep-dive performance gaps, and design strategic responses.
• Conduct cadenced reviews of investigation quality; ensure narratives meet IRB standards before closure and own escalation decisions for high-severity events.
• Partner with construction managers to ensure risks are identified and mitigated prior to live operations as new capacity comes online.
• Influence senior operations Directors and cross-functional partners across Facilities, Construction, Security, and Legal to drive controls adoption at scale.
• Anticipate future growth and investment needs across clusters and build workforce and succession strategy to match a rapidly scaling portfolio.
• Consult and partner with the AWS compliance and legal teams for regulatory interpretations and guidance.
