Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Regional Safety Manager to own the health and safety function across Texas data centers and to supervise a team of Safety Managers. You will build the safety strategy, advance culture, and partner with engineers, security, and legal to protect employees and improve safety across our growing portfolio.

You will lead investigations, drive risk mitigation, mentor safety professionals, and adapt to rapid infrastructure growth while traveling across Texas sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting workplace risk investigations.
• Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements.
• Experience managing direct reports.
• Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years in safety or 10+ years equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the safety strategy and lifecycle of cross-functional programs across Texas data centers.
• Develop and lead a team of Health & Safety Managers across multiple sites.
• Implement safety standards and regulatory compliance (OSHA etc.).
• Analyze safety metrics; report trends and improvements to leadership.
• Collaborate with operations, security, and legal to drive safety controls at scale.
• Plan workforce and succession to support rapid portfolio growth.
• Coordinate with AWS compliance and legal teams for interpretations.
