Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to own the health and safety function across Texas data centers and to lead a team of Safety Managers.

The role involves improving safety culture, coordinating with data center engineers, and ensuring safety standards across multiple sites. The position requires experience leading safety programs, regulatory knowledge (OSHA 29 CFR 1904), and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Experience in conducting workplace risk investigations.
• Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements.
• Experience managing direct reports.
• Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years in occupational health and safety, compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience / 10+ years equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Own the safety strategy across multi-cluster Texas data centers.
• Manage and develop Health & Safety Managers across sites.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, policies, and risk assessments.
• Own regional narratives and safety metrics; analyze trends and plan responses.
• Review investigations for quality and escalate high-severity events.
• Partner with construction managers to identify and mitigate risks before live operations.
• Influence senior leaders to drive safety controls at scale.
• Forecast growth and build workforce and succession strategies.
• Coordinate with AWS compliance and legal teams for guidance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
