Job summary

Quikrete is seeking a Regional Plant Engineer to lead capital projects and process improvements across Texas bag concrete plants. You will partner with Corporate Engineering and plant teams to implement upgrades from conception to completion.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of on-site industrial experience, strong electrical/mechanical maintenance skills, AutoCAD 2D proficiency, and a willingness to travel up to 70%. This role offers challenging projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or higher degree.
• 3–5 years of on-site plant experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance, regulatory compliance, material handling and AutoCAD 2D.
• Strong relationship-building and communication across all levels.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Corporate Engineering and Facility staff to execute projects from conception to completion.
• Spend time in small bag concrete plants to manage equipment installs and upgrades through to completion.
• Identify, design and drive improvement opportunities with palletizers, dryers, hooders, conveyors, robots, elevators.
• Develop Continuous Improvement initiatives at the plant through capital and process improvements.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Visit plants and conduct full-scale audits on machinery, processes, and maintenance.
