Job summary

QUIKRETE is hiring a Regional Plant Engineer in Johns Creek, GA to support 16 manufacturing facilities in the southeastern US. The role focuses on process improvement, equipment reliability, capital projects and safety compliance. Travel of up to 50% is required.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Engineering (Mech preferred) with 5+ years in manufacturing and strong CAD, drafting, and maintenance experience. The company offers competitive wages and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical preferred.
• 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing/plant environment.
• Experience with safety and environmental compliance.
• Experience with environmental control systems.
• Capital project accounting experience.
• Drafting / CAD experience.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Specification writing experience.
• Strong organization, detail orientation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel of at least 50% is required for this position.
• Provide process and design recommendations.
• Develop project scopes and capital budgets.
• Generate engineering design, bid specifications and schedules.
• Oversee budget review and forecasting.
• Provide project planning and implementation to improve operating or cost efficiency.
• Participate in safety and environmental regulatory compliance.
