Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple markets. This executive role drives profitability, guest satisfaction, and brand standards while traveling regularly to support leadership development and operational excellence.

The position requires strong financial acumen, extensive restaurant operations experience, and the ability to lead Directors of Operations across dispersed markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive restaurant operations experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years leading multi-unit operations.
• Previous experience overseeing Directors of Operations or equivalent senior operational leadership preferred.
• Proven success managing large, geographically dispersed restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional strategic leadership across multiple markets and ensure alignment with Company objectives.
• Oversee Directors of Operations, ensure execution of brand standards and policies across regions.
• Manage regional financial performance including sales, profitability, labor, and cost controls.
• Develop leaders, coach teams, and build succession plans for key roles.
• Partner with HR on talent acquisition, performance management, and retention initiatives.
• Ensure guest experience, food quality, and brand standards are consistently delivered.
• Collaborate with Marketing on regional campaigns and market growth initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with laws, safety, and ethics; drive risk management across regions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Finance, HR, Training, Marketing, Facilities, and Supply Chain.
