Job summary

Wendy's International seeks a Senior Director of Area Operations to lead a portfolio of 5–7 Directors of Area Operations and about 200 company‑owned restaurants. You will drive profitability, customer satisfaction, and strategic brand initiatives while aligning with Company guidelines and ethical standards.

Responsibilities include talent development, succession planning, and ensuring staffing goals are met.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree; MBA or Master's Degree.
• 7+ years experience with increasing responsibility in operations management and multi-unit P&L.
• Ability to lead, influence and develop organizational capability with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to engage and motivate teams.
• Strategic thinking and change leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead 4-6 Directors of Area Operations to improve performance and develop a talent pipeline.
• Maximize restaurant profits and work with finance partners to meet objectives.
• Drive sales targets and implement cross‑functional programs for growth.
• Oversee staffing, turnover, diversity & inclusion, and HR processes.
• Deliver guest‑centric operations and provide feedback to cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in planning, site viability, and capital investment discussions.
