Job summary

Avrek Law Firm seeks a motivated and experienced Texas-licensed Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. This role requires hands-on plaintiff-side PI litigation experience, managing cases from filing through resolution, and developing litigation strategies to maximize outcomes.

The position begins as a remote role for TX residents, with plans to open a Dallas office in 2027. When the Dallas office opens, the role will transition to full-time in-office in Dallas, TX, and

Qualifications

• Active Texas license in good standing.
• Hands-on plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience independently managing litigated cases from filing to resolution.
• Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Experience with depositions, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Strong client communication and case management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation matters from filing through resolution.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies to maximize case outcomes.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in court.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other parties.
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and other legal professionals to ensure efficient case progression.
• Maintain compliance with Texas procedural rules, court deadlines, and applicable legal requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status, strategy, and potential outcomes.
