Job summary

PDQuipment seeks a hands‑on General Manager to lead our Texas operation and develop it into the company’s primary service, manufacturing, inventory, and distribution center. You will oversee people, facilities, and cross‑functional coordination to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a service center, distribution center, warehouse, or manufacturing facility.
• Experience managing 15–20+ employees in a hands‑on environment.
• Proven ability to hire, develop, coach, and hold staff accountable.
• Ability to manage supervisors or department leads and drive accountability.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and distribution processes.
• History improving operational processes rather than maintaining status quo.
• Ability to set and enforce standards across multiple sites.
• Comfort working in an industrial environment with hands‑on presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Texas team, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
• Oversee day‑to‑day facility operations, organization, safety, and workflow.
• Advance inventory control using barcode, ERP, and WMS systems; ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with departments to improve production, scheduling, and quality standards.
• Travel to other locations (approx. 6 trips per year) to implement standards and develop leaders.
