MK Search is seeking a General Manager of Operations & Business Development for the Texas market. This hands-on leadership role focuses on growing the client’s environmental services footprint with a strong hunter mentality and proven business development success.

The GM will oversee multiple locations and ~100 employees, maintaining customer relationships while expanding market presence across Central Texas. A highly visible leader, you will drive safety, compliance, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive operations/GM leadership experience.
• Proven business development and sales success in B2B environments (environmental, waste, industrial services).
• Hunter mentality with ability to identify, pursue and close new business.
• Strong relationship management and customer-facing skills.
• Entrepreneurial, driven and hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across multiple Texas locations and service lines.
• Drive business development and new customer acquisition throughout the market.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, and key stakeholders.
• Lead, develop, and hold teams accountable for performance.
• Identify opportunities to expand services, revenue, and market share.
• Oversee service, transportation, waste, composting, and related operations.
• Ensure operational efficiency, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as a visible leader both internally and in the local market.
