Job summary

Community Health Choice, a Texas nonprofit managed care organization, seeks a Director of Medicaid Growth & Retention to lead strategies that expand Medicaid membership, improve retention, and build partnerships across Texas.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, product development, sales, providers, and community organizations to translate market opportunities into measurable growth, with a focus on underserved Texans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Professional experience within the managed care industry is required, including knowledge of Medicaid health plan operations, membership growth, retention, or related business functions.
• Ten (10) years of managed care experience or seven (7) years of marketing or product sales experience within a managed care environment.
• Seven (7) years of progressive leadership or management experience in healthcare products or services.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies, lead teams, and build strategic partnerships.
• Strong understanding of Medicaid managed care, member engagement, and healthcare market dynamics.
• Excellent strategic planning, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship‑management skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and call center operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to increase Medicaid membership, improve retention, and increase market share.
• Identify opportunities for organic membership growth through member engagement, provider relationships, and community partnerships.
• Establish measurable growth and retention goals, monitor performance, and adjust strategies based on market trends and results.
• Oversee Medicaid product performance and support initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams to align growth initiatives with business objectives.
