Job summary

Pinecrest Country Club in East Texas seeks an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead daily maintenance and operations of a Press Maxwell designed championship course. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee agronomic programs, water management, clubhouse landscaping and overall course conditioning.

Qualified candidates bring 5+ years as superintendent/assistant, warm-season turf expertise, and a Texas Applicators license or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience with warm-season turf.
• Texas Applicators License or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver exceptional course conditions.
• Leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct all golf course maintenance and daily operations
• Execute agronomic programs to consistently deliver outstanding playing conditions
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate team members
• Set clear expectations for team members to provide consistent results
• Ensure proper maintenance, training and safe use of all equipment
• Develop and supervise all fertilizer and pesticide programs while maintaining accurate application records
• Foster vendor relationships to ensure best pricing for club
• Create annual operating budget and corresponding models in conjunction with club management team
