Founded in 1921, Pinecrest Country Club is seeking an experienced, motivated Golf Course Superintendent to lead the daily maintenance and operations of our Press Maxwell designed championship golf course.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Superintendent with oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance, staff leadership, water management, clubhouse landscaping and agronomic programs while ensuring exceptional playing conditions for our members.
An East Texas gem, Pinecrest Country Club is a challenge for golfers of all skill levels even at its moderate length (6485 Yds. – Championship Tees). The club has finished year one of a two year golf course restoration project. The project includes: Rebuild greens to USGA specifications (Tifeagle 3D), Install new greens irrigation loops with 2-wire communication, regrade surrounds and renovate bunkers with Bunker Solution liners. The first phase was the front 9 and greens’ nursery. Phase two includes the back 9 and the practice area. Phase two construction will begin on or around January 1, 2027. This will be an exceptional opportunity for a superintendent to showcase their skills during the grow-in.
