Job summary

The Woodlands Country Club - Player Course in The Woodlands, TX is seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead the agronomy team and oversee the 99-hole property. The role includes greens, surrounds, bunkers, irrigation and drainage upgrades, with reopening after renovation under Arcis Golf.

Required: Turf Management degree or related field, 10+ years of progressively responsible golf course experience, and State Certified Pesticide License.

Qualifications

• Degree in Turf Management or related field required.
• Supervisory experience required; minimum 10 years in golf course operations.
• State Certified Pesticide License required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee golf course maintenance day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with financial parameters and company standards.
• Communicate conditions and playability to GM andGolf pros.
• Engage members on improvements and upcoming practices.
• Lead, supervise, and develop Assistant Superintendents and maintenance staff.
• Review monthly P&L with GM and Regional Superintendent.
• Manage irrigation systems, scheduling, and moisture control.
• Handle HR duties within maintenance, including turnover and retention.
