Job summary

Pinecrest Country Club in Longview, TX is seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead daily maintenance and operations of our Press Maxwell designed championship course.

The role reports to the General Manager and requires overseeing agronomic programs, water management, and staff leadership to deliver exceptional playing conditions for our members. Opportunity to contribute to a growing restoration project.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in Golf Course Superintendent roles or as Assistant Superintendent.
• Experience with warm-season turf preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; able to manage staff and operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct all golf course maintenance and daily operations.
• Implement agronomic programs to maintain top playing conditions.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate team members.
• Set clear expectations for consistent results.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, safety, and training.
• Manage fertilizer/pesticide programs with proper records.
• Foster vendor relationships for best pricing.
• Develop annual operating budget with club management.
