Responsibilities

• Shadows experienced underwriters to learn company and regional risk appetite and gain experience in developing agency relationships
• Reviews endorsements within authority limit and analyzes assigned new and renewal accounts
• Evaluates basic middle market accounts for risk selection and pricing within limited authority
• Maintains proper file documentation for accounts
• Communicates with agents and provides updates on accounts
• Collaborates with marketing representatives to build relationships and provide agents with good customer experiences
• Attends peer training sessions, corporate workshops, and learning courses to enhance underwriting knowledge and skills
