• Candidates that exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.

Responsibilities

• Shadows experienced underwriters to learn company and regional middle market risk appetite and build agency relationships.
• Supports underwriting team by completing tasks such as reviewing endorsements within authority and analyzing assigned accounts.
• Evaluates basic middle market accounts for risk selection and pricing within limited authority, analyzing exposure and financial data.
• Maintains proper file documentation for accounts and communicates with agents with updates on accounts.
• Collaborates with marketing to learn building relationships and ensure good customer experiences.
• Attends peer training sessions and corporate workshops to enhance underwriting knowledge.
