JOB STATUS: OPEN
QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school diploma or its equivalency. Associate’s degree or equivalent level of training and experience preferred. One year of experience working in testing environment, SAT or ACT preferred. Must have Pearson VUE certification or obtain it within 60 days of hire date. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and learn applications quickly. Ability to work mornings 8:30am-1:30pm Monday-Thursdays.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Register and proctor computer-based tests while following established procedures and guidelines in accordance with passing the Pearson Administrators Test. Assist with operations of the testing lab Monday- Thursday. Adherences to testing policies and procedures are paramount as well as maintaining information on testing policies and procedures to examinees. Must be able to pass the Pearson Test Administrator exam within the first thirty (30) days. Maintains a secure and quiet testing environment, as well as writing incident reports when necessary. Performs other related duties.
GENERAL DEFINITION AND CONDITIONS OF WORK: Performs work proctoring computer based tests and duties are typically performed in a testing classroom. Work requires frequent standing, sitting, light lifting up to 10 pounds, walking, vocal communication for expressing or exchanging ideas, hearing to perceive information at a normal spoken word level and visual acuity for preparing and analyzing written or computer data.
REPORTS TO: GED Adult Education Specialist
Richmond Public Schools will conduct a background investigation, fingerprinting and tuberculosis screening as a condition of employment. EOE.
LENGTH OF CONTRACT: This is a temporary position adn can be terminated at any time by Richmond Public Schools.
This is a grant funded position and is contingent upon availability of funds.
