Qualifications

• Must have NC licensure as a teacher or in a student support service area.
• Knowledge or interest in NC State Assessments and Accountability Programs.
• Must have exemplary planning skills, leadership skills, and commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to district testing plans, timelines, ethics, and sign the Confidentiality Agreement.
• Train staff on test security, ethical testing practices, and accommodations for ELs.
• Develop test schedules, room assignments, and administrator/proctor allocations.
• Count, verify, secure, and maintain all testing materials in a locked location.
• Ensure testing rooms are free of unauthorized displays and materials.
• Verify students complete required tutorials before test day.
• Distribute secure materials before testing and verify counts with staff.
• Monitor testing sessions for secure conditions and accurate accommodations.
• Report testing irregularities through OTISS and reconcile materials after testing.
• Maintain confidentiality of student assessment results per policy.
