Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking a Testing Coordinator to support data-driven decisions and ensure 100% of scholars take necessary tests in a proper testing environment. The role collaborates with campus partners to provide approved accommodations and supports leadership focus on student social-emotional needs and family engagement.

The Testing Coordinator will oversee testing plans, train staff, and coordinate with IT to ensure readiness for online testing, while maintaining compliance with TEA

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma; 48+ College Credit hours preferred.
• Experience: Educational experience preferred; testing experience valued.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and communicate campus testing plans for district, state, and national assessments.
• Coordinate with campus IT to ensure computers are ready for online testing.
• Manage testing schedules and accommodations with SPED/ELL/504 RTI points of contact.
• Lead testing trainings and participate in TEAMS groups and newsletters.
• Ensure 100% of students are tested in the appropriate format with approved accommodations.
• Prepare testing materials 72 hours in advance and audit contents with test administrators.
• Monitor and communicate testing timelines and updates to families.
