Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada seeks a part-time College Work Study candidate for the Testing Center in Henderson. You will administer exams, proctor, greet students and guests, and maintain testing logs.

This position supports CSN students and staff, uses Greymatter and RegisterBlast, and requires reliable attendance, clear handwriting, and strong communication. A Student Employment Award is required to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Legible handwriting and attention to detail.
• Dependability, reliability, and punctuality.
• Friendly, outgoing and able to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Administer, give instructions and set up various exams.
• Proctoring (monitoring) students during the exam.
• Assist front desk greeting students, instructors, and guests.
• Maintain logbooks and files for testing.
• Access and use the Greymatter system and RegisterBlast for tracking and appointments.
• Answer questions in person and on the phone about testing center services.
• Additional duties as assigned for opening and closing procedures.
