Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada is seeking a part-time Testing Center staff member for Spring 2027 in Henderson. The position supports placement tests, exam proctoring, and front-desk assistance, up to 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities include administering exams, guiding test-takers, maintaining logs, using Greymatter and RegisterBlast, and answering questions in person or by phone. A FAFSA-completed student with the CSN Student Employment Award is required.

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will work with the testing center staff to administer, give instructions and setup various exams.
• Proctoring (monitoring) students during the exam.
• Candidates will assist the front desk greeting and welcoming students, instructors, and local community guests.
• Maintain logbooks and files associated with testing.
• Access and use the Greymatter system and RegisterBlast for student tracking and appointments.
• Answering questions in person and on the phone regarding testing center services and other CSN department information.
• Additional duties as assigned for opening and closing procedures.
