Job summary

College of Lake County (CLC) seeks a Testing Specialist to coordinate testing services at the Grayslake Campus and ensure compliance with rules and security. You will administer exams, score and report results, maintain records, and train testing staff as needed.

The role emphasizes front-line testing, ADA services, and ensuring professional service with diverse students and partners in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree plus three (3) years of related experience OR Bachelor's Degree plus two (2) years of related experience.
• Computer proficiency using word processing, spreadsheets, databases, various software programs, and computer troubleshooting.
• Good organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with persons of diverse cultures, language groups, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear instructions and information for testing participants and staff.
• Coordinate testing services across campuses, including placement testing and accommodations.
• Administer exams in various formats and report results securely.
• Maintain testing records, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with rules.
• Handle proctoring and testing payments; participate in trainings and certifications.
