Job summary

ABB in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Quality Technician to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system. You will perform product testing to standards, document results, and support audits and KPI reporting.

You must read and follow SOPs, contribute to process documentation, and maintain cleanliness and Safety 5S in the workplace. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for long periods, and flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand English instructions.
• Lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Good hand dexterity and strong math skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or quality control is preferred.
• Willing to work overtime and possibly weekends.
• Must follow safety procedures and 5S Lean practices.

Responsibilities

• Test product to standards, follow SOPs, and maintain revision controls.
• Perform quality checks and controls, include cleaning and maintenance adherence.
• Prepare and maintain production records and ensure accuracy.
• Support audits and report quality KPIs and customer cases.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area and follow safety protocols.
