Job summary

ABB is seeking an Assembly III to support production targets on the shop floor. You will read and interpret technical diagrams, operate machinery, and work across all stations, including troubleshooting breakers and running testing equipment.

The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, with overtime as needed. You will contribute to quality by interpreting tester data, following red tag procedures, and recording production metrics.

Qualifications

  • Stand, bend, walk for extended periods.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills and understanding of manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations.
  • Detail-oriented and team-oriented.
  • Flexible to overtime with little or no notice.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Know all stations of the assembly line.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair breakers on the line.
  • Understand product operation and work on all stations.
  • Interpret tester data for quality checks.
  • Follow red tag process at shift end.
  • Record tally for red-tagged breakers at day end.
  • Assist in operator training and provide feedback on quality issues.
  • Record production data issues daily and manage defect tracker.
  • Support trainings of other employees.
  • Perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift.
  • Able to run all testing equipment.
  • Support Coordinator in keeping the operation moving.

Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Production Unit ManagerASSEMBLER IIIYour role and responsibilities (Mandatory)In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor.
