Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a QA Tester to ensure software functionality aligns with the defined Test Plan and Test Cases. The role involves updating execution status, logging defects, and collaborating with team members and clients for progress updates.

The candidate will assist in developing Test Cases from Functional Specifications and Software Requirements documents, contributing to quality across projects at a global technology company.

Job description

To test software code as per work allocated within the quality standards prescribed so as to meet the client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• To test the Functionality as per the Test plan and respective Test Cases.
• To update test case execution status in the recording system and log defects

• To assist in Test Case creation from the Functional Specifications / Software Requirement Specification document.
