Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related discipline.
  • Experience creating and executing both manual and automated test cases and test plans.

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for new and existing product features.
  • Reproduce, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
  • Partner with QA Leads and Engineering teams to define and execute testing strategies.
  • Create and manage dashboards that track quality metrics, defect trends, release readiness, and test execution progress.
  • Conduct Product Audits to identify test coverage gaps and improve overall quality assurance processes.
  • Perform Bug Audits to analyze recurring defects and identify product areas requiring improvement.
  • Support release readiness activities for small to medium-sized feature releases.
  • Lead test execution activities for small and medium-scale projects.
  • Participate in status meetings and represent the QA function when needed.
  • Collaborate directly with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to ensure product rigor and quality standards.
  • Execute specialized testing activities including Battery/Performance/Regression/Functional/End-to-End Validation.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with a passion for delivering high-quality software products through both manual and automated testing. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, product, and QA teams to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance across new and existing features.

The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in test planning, defect management, automation testing, quality metrics, and cross-functional collaboration. This position requires a proactive individual who can independently drive testing efforts while contributing to overall quality strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for new and existing product features.
  • Reproduce, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, testing frameworks, tools, and best practices.
  • Proven experience creating and executing both manual and automated test cases and test plans.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working onsite and partnering closely with cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and automation tools.
  • Hands-on programming/scripting expertise in:
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Similar programming languages
  • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
  • Familiarity with quality dashboards, reporting tools, and quality metrics analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience creating quality metrics dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Exposure to performance testing, benchmarking, battery testing, or similar validation activities.
  • Experience analyzing test coverage and release quality trends.
  • Experience supporting complex, high-visibility, or confidential product initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $ 45 per hour

Pay Range Maximum: $ 58 per hour
