Job summary

HireArt is recruiting a Test Technician, QA for an on-demand ride-hailing company in Las Vegas. You will support vehicle readiness, perform software and hardware testing, and help maintain safety standards both inside and outside the vehicle.

The role requires 2+ years of testing experience, proficiency with Jira/Confluence, strong communication, and the ability to work shifts including early mornings and weekends. Onsite contract position with HireArt.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience conducting complex testing or vehicle testing.
• Basic quality assurance testing experience.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence or Azure DevOps.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Support daily vehicle operations and readiness activities.

Job description

Expected compensation: 31.55 USD Per Hour

HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find a Test Technician, QA to support vehicle readiness, execute software and hardware testing, and help maintain high safety standards both inside and outside the vehicle.

In this role, you’ll perform testing, review and analyze data, create and document ZPTs, and identify both known and newly discovered issues. New issues must be logged in Jira and clearly communicated to the appropriate engineering teams. You’ll also collaborate with teams across computer vision, infrastructure, sound design, strategy, vehicle engineering, and ride operations.

This position requires flexibility to work shifts based on operational needs, including early mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

The ideal candidate is disciplined, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. They are proactive, resourceful, and willing to do what it takes to support the mission.

As a Test Technician, QA, You'll

• Support daily vehicle operations and readiness activities.

• Conduct testing and data collection to improve processes and tools based on observed customer and operational needs.
• Uphold a safety-focused, inclusive, and open-communication culture.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience conducting complex testing or vehicle testing
• Basic quality assurance testing experience
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence or Azure DevOps
• Experience analyzing test results, identifying issues, and documenting defects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work with a strong sense of urgency
• Safety-first mindset and a commitment to completing tasks accurately and efficiently
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, and weekends as needed

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience coding or scripting in Python or another high-level programming language
• Experience with issue-tracking and reporting tools such as Jira
• Experience with communication buses and protocols, including CAN and Ethernet
