Job summary

HireArt is recruiting a Test Technician, QA for an on-demand ride-hailing company in Las Vegas. You will support vehicle readiness, perform software and hardware testing, and help maintain safety standards both inside and outside the vehicle.

The role requires 2+ years of testing experience, proficiency with Jira/Confluence, strong communication, and the ability to work shifts including early mornings and weekends. Onsite contract position with HireArt.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience conducting complex testing or vehicle testing.
• Basic quality assurance testing experience.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence or Azure DevOps.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Support daily vehicle operations and readiness activities.
• Perform basic software operations and system checks.
• Support testing missions in various roles inside and outside vehicles.
• Assist with documentation, reporting, and operational metrics.
• Provide clear and accurate written and verbal feedback to engineering teams.
• Complete paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness.
• Analyze vehicle logs and test data to identify failures and support root cause analysis.
• Support the defect management process from initial identification through resolution.
• Execute mission preparation procedures, including launching software across multiple devices and verifying configurations.
• Conduct testing and data collection to improve processes and tools based on observed needs.
• Uphold a safety-focused, inclusive, and open-communication culture.
