Qualifications

• 2+ years of hardware or software testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with ADAS, autonomous vehicles, or related automotive systems.
• Working knowledge of autonomous vehicle hardware and software, including cameras and radar.
• Experience troubleshooting computers, vehicle systems, hardware, or software issues.
• Ability to prepare vehicles and related systems for testing and assess test readiness.
• Strong attention to detail and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

Job description

HireArt is helping our client hire a Vehicle Testing Specialist to be responsible for daily testing activities for its autonomous vehicle programs.
In this role, you will prepare autonomous vehicles for testing, execute test plans, evaluate vehicle and software functionality, and report on testing outcomes to provide crucial information for the software development teams.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with autonomous vehicles, ADAS, or related automotive testing and a strong understanding of the hardware and software systems that enable autonomous driving. You can confidently identify and discuss common vehicle sensors, such as cameras and radar, understand their role within an autonomous system, and take a methodical approach to preparing vehicles and systems for testing.

Training Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 9AM-5:30PM (2-3 weeks)

Available Days:

• Thursday-Monday, Sunday-Thursday, or Tuesday-Sunday

Available Shifts:

• AM: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or PM: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

As a Vehicle Testing Specialist, you'll:

• Prepare AV and ADAS development vehicles for testing and execute established test plans.
• Assess vehicle hardware and software readiness and identify issues that could affect testing or vehicle functionality.
• Coordinate and improve testing procedures together with software engineers and operations teams.
• Provide detailed notes and formal reports of testing activities and results.
• Work with the vehicle operators to conduct testing professionally and efficiently.
• Be a safety champion for the vehicle testing programs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hardware or software testing, data entry, or similar technical experience
• Hands‑on experience with ADAS, autonomous vehicles, or related automotive systems
• Working knowledge of autonomous vehicle hardware and software, including common sensor systems such as cameras and radar and their functions
• Experience troubleshooting computers, vehicle systems, hardware, or software issues
• Ability to prepare vehicles and related systems for testing and assess overall test readiness
• Strong attention to detail
• A collaborative mindset and deep interest in understanding the functionality of autonomy software
