PRATT & WHITNEY in McKinney, TX is seeking a Test Technician to perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of products and assemblies according to engineering documentation.

You will read schematics, operate test equipment, maintain materials, and ensure quality. This on-site 2nd shift role requires a HS diploma or equivalent and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS degree with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
• Experience with hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow test procedures, engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, bills of materials, and other technical documentation.
• Operate test equipment, measurement instruments, hand tools, and electronic diagnostic tools.
• Maintain inventory of test materials, equipment, and components at assigned workstations.
• Perform quality checks, identify defects or test failures, document results, and report abnormalities.
• Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, rework, and repair of products and assemblies per engineering specs.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting following quality standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

The Test Technician performs functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of products and assemblies using established procedures and engineering documentation.

What You Will Do

Qualifications

• You Must Have HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working within a Manufacturing environment.
• U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to assemble equipment.
• Experience with any of the following: hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
• Self-directed & action-oriented with the ability to work in a team environment to resolve most questions and problems.
• Relevant manufacturing, assembly, and/or construction/facilities experience.

*This is a 2nd shift position working on-site at our McKinney, TX location.*

The salary range for this role is 41,400 USD - 72,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

The role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
