Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. is seeking a Test Technician to support debug and test activities in our Rochester, MN manufacturing site. You will work on test assemblies, maintain testers, and provide training and ongoing support to Test operators.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, an engineering/technical degree, and strong analytical and communication skills. The role requires a safety-sensitive mindset and a commitment to Lean and Kaizen improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test/assembly environments.
• 2 year Engineering or Technical degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Debug and test assemblies to component level using schematics.
• Maintain testers and perform routine upkeep.
• Train and support Test operators; communicate issues to engineers.
• Assist in root-cause analysis and lean continuous improvement.
