Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT is seeking a Test Technician II to support the Test Engineering team with troubleshooting and testing of electronic assemblies. You will work from drawings, operate bench test sets, and perform environmental tests.

The role requires hands-on experience with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal chambers and vibration systems, plus data analysis and documentation for calibration and SPC improvements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of testing experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and specs.
• Experience using standard test equipment and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies under supervision.
• Perform bench testing, in-process and final acceptance testing.
• Analyze test data and troubleshoot performance variations.
• Assist/perform repair operations on test equipment as needed.
• Set up production test equipment including chambers and scopes.
• Document findings and report anomalies to supervision.
• Work with engineering on test plans and equipment.
• Maintain ESD, soldering and safety certifications.
