Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT is hiring a Test Technician I to support test engineering by troubleshooting components and assemblies, and by validating test setups.

The role requires hands-on experience with testing tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal chambers and vibration equipment, plus the ability to read blueprints and schematics. You will document results and assist with repairs, ensuring procedures meet calibration and QC standards. Shift: 1st Shift, on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of testing experience required.
• Familiar with testing equipment and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot electronic assemblies under supervision.
• Work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring lists to perform testing.
• Interpret test data and diagnose irregular performance.
• Assist or perform repairs on test equipment as needed.
• Develop test plans with engineering for prototype assemblies.
• Set up production test equipment including thermal/vibration equipment.
• Document findings and test results.
