Job summary

Precision Fuzing and Sensors in Middletown, CT is seeking a Test Technician I to join the Test Engineering team. The role involves troubleshooting electronic assemblies, performing bench and environmental tests, and assisting with test equipment development for prototypes.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years of testing experience, and basic computer skills. Shift is 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, with on-site work and benefits including medical, dental, and 401k.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of testing experience required.
• Basic knowledge of computers and associated software such as word processing and spreadsheet applications as required.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot various electronic assemblies under supervision.
• Work from blueprints, schematics, and process instructions to perform electronic testing.
• Interpret and analyze test data and troubleshoot variations.
• Assist or perform repair operations on test equipment.
• Develop test equipment and plans with design engineers for prototypes.
• Set up production test equipment including thermal chambers, vibration equipment and oscilloscopes.
