Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Westerly, RI to test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production components, with a focus on signal conditioning electronics and telemetry systems.

The role supports both production and prototype testing, working closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure product quality and reliability through comprehensive testing and documentation. On-site contract position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years relevant experience or an Associate Degree with 0–2 years related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
• Willingness to travel on occasion

Responsabilités

• Conduct functional and continuity testing of electrical and optical assemblies using test equipment.
• Set up standard test apparatus and configure test equipment to perform environmental and life-cycle tests.
• Test prototype and production units to evaluate performance and reliability against specifications.
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting failed components under direction and guidance.
• Follow product test procedures and safety practices per the quality system.
