Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 1–3 years hands-on experience in electro-optics, fiber optics, instrumentation and measurements.
• Strong computer skills, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and perform tests to standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental and mechanical tests on cables and assemblies according to standards.
• Produce computer-based test reports conveying findings to other departments.
• Troubleshoot test setups and identify root causes.
• Perform inspections and analysis in support of customer complaints and RMAs.
• Support production by performing inspections, analyses, tests, and annealing processes.
• Generate reports as directed by Test Lab Supervisor.
