Chart Industries in Windsor, CT is seeking a Technician-Test to perform tests and troubleshoot performance, leaks and aesthetics of Spencer blower and vacuum products on the production floor.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of manufacturing experience. You will use calibrated gauges, read engineering drawings, and operate hoists, forklifts, and test fixtures while maintaining documentation and collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to read engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot performance, leaks and aesthetics of Spencer blower and vacuum products.
• Maintain documentation per established quality standards and engineering test specifications.
• Perform trim balance.
• Set up and breakdown test fixtures using hoists, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.
• Work with variable frequency drives and calibrated gauges.
