Job summary

Chart, Inc. in Windsor, CT is seeking an assembler to fabricate and assemble fan components at our Windsor facility. You will use a variety of equipment and hand tools, read engineering drawings, and follow work orders to produce accurate assemblies.

The role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail in a manufacturing setting.
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components using equipment such as a press, VTL or roller.
• Assemble components to build fans using a press, spot welders and rivets.
• Straighten and balance fans.
• Work with drawings, work orders and verbal/written instructions.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
