The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vibration analysis and measurement of pressure/temperature, and will work with safety-focused processes in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical testing of rotating machinery (blowers, compressors, dryers).
• Proficient in using laser shaft alignment tools.
• Ability to measure vibration, pressure, and temperature using appropriate instruments.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical connections for industrial equipment.
• Proficient with Windows-based computers and software for generating test reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision shaft alignment using laser shaft alignment tools (core responsibility).
• Conduct mechanical tests on centrifugal blowers, compressors, and dryers following established procedures.
• Record and analyze vibration, pressure, and temperature data during testing.
• Set up electrical and mechanical input/output connections, including auxiliary equipment such as soft starters and water-cooling towers.
• Generate accurate and detailed test reports using Windows-based software.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Communicate test findings, anomalies, and improvement recommendations to the engineering team.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures during test operations.
