Job Summary
Responsible for performing a variety of electrical, mechanical, and functional tests on electronic assemblies and products, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications. This role operates on the 2nd shift, from 3 PM to 11 PM.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct functional and diagnostic tests on electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products using various test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
- Perform visual inspections for defects, damage, and proper assembly according to manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
- Interpret and follow detailed test procedures, schematics, and blueprints.
- Document test accurately and completely, including pass/fail status and any identified anomalies or failures.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose failures to the component level, utilizing test equipment and technical documentation.
- Identify and report recurring issues or trends to engineering and quality teams for further investigation.
- Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve test processes and product quality.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in electronics testing or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Experience with common electronic test equipment (e.g., DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, function generators).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electronic assemblies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Ability to work the 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM) consistently.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
