Qualifications

  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions, procedures and diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and good troubleshooting in a technical environment.

Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description

The Test Technician supports engineering and production teams by setting up, operating, and maintaining electronic and mechanical test equipment to verify product performance and quality. This role works hands-on with electronic circuits and mechanical assemblies, performing measurements, troubleshooting issues, and documenting test results to ensure products meet specified standards.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor electronic and mechanical test equipment to evaluate product performance and functionality.
  • Use oscilloscopes and other diagnostic instruments to measure, analyze, and record electrical signals and parameters.
  • Perform soldering on electronic components and assemblies to support test setup, rework, and repairs.
  • Assist in testing electronic and mechanical systems according to established procedures and engineering instructions.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and identify faults in electronic circuits and mechanical assemblies using appropriate tools and methods.
  • Document test procedures, results, and observations accurately and clearly for review by engineering and quality teams.
  • Maintain test equipment, tools, and workstations in good working order, ensuring proper calibration and safe operation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to improve test methods and resolve technical issues identified during testing.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and process guidelines while handling electronic and mechanical components.
Essential Skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $12.00 - $12.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
