Job summary

ABB’s Houston Systems Integration Unit is seeking an experienced tester to perform physical pre-testing on newly developed products, validate manufacturing processes, and execute checks per manuals and test scripts.

You will maintain accurate records, investigate issues, determine root causes with stakeholders, and implement corrective actions. This onsite role emphasizes safety, quality, and compliance as part of our manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Analytical Instrumentation Technology AS would be a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in analyzers or sample systems; Electrical systems checkout experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure quality.
  • Assist the team in performing all required checks as part of Factory Acceptance Testing.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot issues, determine root causes, implement corrective actions with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate testing records, data, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and quality management.
