Job summary

ABB is seeking an on-site Information Systems support specialist in Mount Juliet, TN. You will manage PC lifecycle, hardware/software support, imaging, and peripherals across manufacturing, warehouse and office settings.

You’ll work with Bartender/Loftware/NiceLabel printing software and collaborate with network teams to ensure reliable IS services. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 3+ years in enterprise end-user support, and a proactive problem-solving

• Experience in enterprise End User support with O365 and Windows 11.

Support large manufacturing, warehouse and office environments including PC Hardware, Software, Applications, VOIP, Peripherals and help with manufacturing equipment. Provide support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for end users and support teams. This position is an onsite support including Lancaster Tx remote support.The work model for the role is onsite in our Mount Juliet, TN facility. (#LI-Onsite).You will be mainly accountable for:Manage PC Lifecycle Support: Provide hardware and software support including break/fix, imaging, inventory, post build set up, new user set up, EOL Returns and peripheral installation. This will include management of new and current Samsung / Zebra tablets, as well as equipment used in forklifts like wireless printers. Open Service Now ticket to do request or reports issues and follow up until closure of them.Configure and manage MFPs and printing solutions including large MFP devices (Xerox, Sharp), Label Printers (Zebra), and small use laser printers (HP).Ensure Manufacturing Excellence: Supports manufacturing environment, support technologies required for continued business operations including required off-hour support and on call rotation.Partner with Network Team to Support the installation of new IS solutions/services in regards of the required infrastructure, or the changing or troubleshoot of existing IS solutions/services. When involved, delivers the appropriate IS solution/service infrastructure on time, on budget and quality.People leadership and Development: Provides leadership to temporary work teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice normally without carrying line responsibility.May require lifting and installation of network equipment (less than 40 pounds).May require the user of Scissor Lift or ladders to install network / cables.May require working Saturdays and off hours with previous coordination.May require travelling to Lancaster, Tx for support.Qualifications for the role:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field; background in Automation, Electronics, or IT is a plus.Minimum 3 years of experience in an enterprise End User support role, with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and hands-on Windows 11 support experience.Solid understanding of networking topology, concepts, and server infrastructure, combined with experience in programming or scripting within an IT environment.Experience with manufacturing processes, procedures, and factory IT environments, including label printing software such as Bartender, Loftware, or NiceLabel.Strong sense of personal accountability, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a demanding environment.Commitment to upholding ABB's Code of Conduct, policies, and standards (including EPPs), ensuring contractors and vendors operate in full alignment with ABB's values and ways of working.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent Continuous Improvement certification is preferred.Knowledge of the Spanish language at an intermediate level is a plus.Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.What's in it for you:We give you the space to lead, the support to grow, and the chance to make a difference.
